What goes well with an hour-long yoga class? A celebratory glass of wine

First came yoga paired with beer, now comes a weekly yoga and wine class at an urban winery. Handpicked Cellar Door is running Friday morning Yoga and Wine classes for those who like a bit of vino with their Vinyassa. It’s an intimate class of up to 12 people and you’ll need to bring your own mat along to practice, but the one-hour class takes you through a relaxing series of movements guided by the breath, followed by 30 minutes of quaffing Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. We’re not entirely sure who this class is aimed at, considering you’ll need to be in Chippendale for an 11am class and potentially tipsy on endorphins and booze by the time lunch rolls around. If this sounds like just the ticket for rounding out a busy week, we suggest booking online in advance and ordering one of their cheese and charcuterie platters for afterwards.
