Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls – the circus is coming back to town! This Christmas, the acclaimed Circus 1903 is bringing its magic, marvels and mesmerising elephant puppets to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for nine spectacular days.

Step back in time to the Golden Age of circus with a high-octane cast of contortionists and acrobats taking on the teeterboard (seesaw-like plank), rolla bolla and so much more. Both the young and old will appreciate sensational life-size elephant puppetry from the award-winning team behind War Horse. You’ll be captivated as the majestic elephant Queenie and her adorable calf Peanut dance and prance around the circus ring, reminiscent of elephants from the good old circus days (without a trace of animal cruelty).

Celebrate the festive season with your family by booking tickets to the strictly limited run of Circus 1903 from December 21-29. There are both daytime and nighttime performances to suit all schedules, including 11am, 3pm and 7pm, with tickets from $79. Hint: This would make a fabulous Christmas present for the kids!
