Sydney Capitol Theatre invites audiences to be their guest at Disney Theatrical’s enchanting musical production of Beauty and the Beast. This five-star blockbuster musical made its Australian debut on June 14 with reimagined performances of all the Oscar-winning songs you know and love.

Since opening on Broadway in 1994, Beauty and the Beast has toured more than 40 countries around the world and has been seen by 35 million people to date. It’s a tale as old as time, and the musical’s exploration of love, acceptance, and personal growth continues to resonate with audiences almost three decades on.

Beauty and the Beast’s spellbinding story and songs are brought to life by members of the original creative team, under the guidance of producer Thomas Schumacher and director Matt West. Building upon the resounding success of Disney Theatrical’s previous six Australian musicals, including The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Aladdin and Frozen, this new rendition of Beauty and the Beast transports audiences into a world of wonder with state-of-the-art stage tech, new costumes and an updated set.

Your hearts will be filled by the majestic melodies of stars Shubshri Kandiah as Belle and Brendan Xavier as Beast, as they perform Oscar-winning and Tony award-nominated scores including ‘Belle’, ‘Gaston’, ‘Human Again’ and ‘Be Our Guest’.

With tickets from just $50, more people than ever before can experience the magic of this beautiful production. You can save over $100* per ticket by booking a mid-week performance, or save $20 per ticket by booking four tickets in selected performances and price reserves.

Theatregoers can also set themselves up for a fabulous evening with a Capitol Class package including two tickets, a souvenir program, two glasses of French Champagne, two choc top ice-creams and a hand-made Australian chocolate bar.
