[Sponsored] Explore Tokyo’s small-scale theatre scene, right here in Sydney

This immersive theatre show brought to you by the Japan Foundation and Steep Slope Studio will give you a chance to experience Tokyo's small theatre movement, all without leaving Sydney. Taking place within a mystery venue (we can tell you it's a house located within the the art-edged suburb of Chippendale) Machi Adventure: Step Into My Home will see four Japanese actors and choreographers transform the space and break the boundaries of traditional theatre by encouraging viewers to interact with their surroundings.

Using dance and performance, four of Tokyo's top independent theatre performers, including Wataru Kitao, Teita Iwabuchi, Satoko Yoshida, and Takeshi Fukuda will immerse you in a walk-through theatre piece, which will guide you through the empty house.

You can join the free adventure on Fri Mar 16 at 6.30pm, or Sat Mar 17. Just make sure you book your spot to ensure you get in on the adventure.
