Time Out says

Force Majeure mix movement and real stories in this work about rituals and breaking the rules

This collaboration between Force Majeure and Dance Integrated Australia is part of the National Arts and Disability Strategy program New Normal.

Off the Record brings together five people (dancers Jana Castillo and Marnie Palomares, and actors Neil Phipps, Gerard O'Dwyer and Alex Jones) with directors Danielle Micich (Force Majeure) and Philip Channells (Dance Integrated Australia), to devise a work.

The starting point was asking the performers to share their thoughts and experiences around breaking the rules. The resulting work fuses movement and text by comedian/playwright Zoe Coombs Marr to explore how we behave when we're 'in public' versus alone.
