Prada Clutch: Live – Intimate – Untucked
Time Out says
An intimate evening of cabaret with one of Sydney’s leading drag queens
Note: this show was originally planned for December 19. It has been rescheduled to Friday, February 5.
Sydney’s self-proclaimed ‘six-foot-something songstress’ is inviting audiences to come sit back, relax and have a drink with her as she reveals all in a self-titled one-woman show.
Drag queen Prada Clutch will be singing live, belting out show-stopping hits from some of world’s most celebrated singers, traversing cabaret, Broadway and pop charts as she tells her own story – revealing how she was shunned by her own community whilst being welcomed with open arms by American rock band, the Eagles.
Long before the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race were werking the world, Prada was sharing the magic of drag and touring the country with her all-male revue Prada’s Priscillas. From metropolitan cities to drought-stricken rural towns, Prada and her busload of beauty and brawn have exposed people to everything from the history of the famous Les Girls of Kings Cross to the true meaning of Priscilla Queen of the Desert – to the surprise and delight of husbands and boyfriends who’ve been dragged in along the way.
For one night only, you can take a peek behind the lace front and untuck with a true queen. Prada Clutch: Live – Intimate – Untucked comes to Max Watts at the Entertainment Quarter on Friday, February 5 at 8pm. You can book a physically distanced cabaret table of two or four for $68.50 per person. Each ticket includes two drinks from the bar to get you lubricated for a revealing evening with one of our biggest showgirls (literally, she’s very tall). Find tickets here.
