The Australian Shakespeare Company’s outdoor theatre series returns this autumn with the Bard's most magical comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Roll out your picnic blanket and settle in for two-and-a-half hours (including a short intermission) of whimsical delight over a BYO picnic as this magical play comes to life. Playing from April 9-28, this bespoke experience is bound to delight all ages.
After receiving rave reviews from London’s Kew Gardens’ season in 2021, this production will be presented under the stars for the very first time at Belvedere Amphitheatre in Sydney’s beautiful Centennial Park. Full of twists and turns, A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes audiences on a riotous ride through a magical forest where misguided lovers, meddlesome fairies, a madcap troupe of actors and a foolish man with a donkey's head roams (just roll with it).
