One of the most extraordinary episodes of Ira Glass's This American Life concerns David Holthouse, a reporter who plotted the murder of the man who had sexually assaulted him as a child, 25 years earlier. The story was turned into a play in 2013, penned by Holthouse with Markus Potter.
This Australian premiere production is directed by Neil Gooding, best known for his work with indie musicals, such as Dogfight and High Fidelity at the Hayes. He also produced their breakthrough, award-winning production of Sweet Charity.
His cast is headed up by Graeme McRae as David Holthouse, with supporting performances from Noel Hodda, Radek Jonak, Deborah Jones, Alexander Palacio and Anne Tenney.
