Time Out says

Traditions rub up against change in this new Australian play about a family gathered on a tiny island in the Bass Strait for the mutton bird harvest

This new play by Nathan Maynard will premiere at Sydney Festival before playing at Hobart's Ten Days on the Island and Adelaide Festival.

Drawing on his own history Maynard has created an intergenerational portrait of one family gathered together for the annual mutton bird harvest.

Trevor Jamieson (The Secret River) will star, alongside an all-Indigenous cast, directed by Isaac Drandic.
