[title]Green Day’s punk Broadway musical American Idiot is coming to Sydney Opera House. Set in post-9/11 America, the production was penned by Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong and Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening), and features all the music from Green Day's Grammy Award-winning 2004 album of the same name as well as some of the best music from the 2009 follow-up 21st Century Breakdown. The local production stars Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson.
