The talented dancers behind Groove Therapy are doing something a little different in aid of Art Month and also International Women’s Day. They’re transforming a Darlinghurst bedroom into a dance studio for a very personalised – and very brief – dance class.
A maximum of four people per class are invited into neon-lit, disco-walled bedroom to learn a couple of hip hop moves. And the best/worst bit? It’s all over in five minutes.
Each five-minute class is free to attend. Sign up on the website and you’ll be sent the location vai text message. Don’t worry, it’s legit.
Dancer and teacher Amy Zhang will be encouraging everyone to let go of any negative vibes and simply dance. The experience is available for one night only.
