Two literary heavyweights join forces to discuss sexuality, school and the media
Author Benjamin Law and journalist David Marr will hit the stage for a very special event at the Seymour Centre this week.
Marr and Law will hit the stage to discuss the latter’s timely piece in Quarterly Essay titled ‘Moral Panic 101: Equality, Acceptance and the Safe Schools Scandal’. The piece looks at the new face of homophobia in Australia and the current battle for equality and acceptance.
During this hour-long conversation, Marr and Law will tackle issues such as sexuality, teenagers, sexual and gender identity politics, mental health and how the media reports on the safe schools program.
