Time Out says

Treat your best mate to a party by the beach with swimming, dog yoga, best dressed competitions and a mini pet market

Bring your floof to Bondi for this day dedicated to dogs, hosted by rescue and animal advocacy group, Pound Paws. They’ll be setting up a market where dog owners can pick up pet paraphernalia, from doggie healing crystals to top tier treats, grooming equipment and even organise dog massages.

They’ll also be hosting dog-friendly activities, like a puppy pool party, sessions of dog yoga (we’re not exactly sure what that entails), obstacle courses and doggo costume competitions. But the highlight for the day will undoubtedly be the rescue dog adoption parade, where pups looking for new homes will stride it out on the dog-walk, coats a’gleaming.

There’ll be a whole contingent of animal rescue and adoption groups there alongside the Pound Paws peeps, all encouraging Sydneysiders to choose dog adoption over purchasing a pooch.
