Time Out says

Leave your inhibitions (and your clothes) at the door for this nudist restaurant experience

We’ve all been there: you’ve put on your glad rags for a swanky meal at a nice restaurant and then a careless spill accidentally stains your best threads. Well, such snafus may be a thing of the past, for uninhibited Sydneysiders at least. After successful outings in London, France and Melbourne, Sydney is set to be the next city to host an all-nudist restaurant where the only garment diners will risk dropping food down is their birthday suit.

In collaboration with the Young Nudists of Australia, Stitch Bar will host Bottoms Up Sydney, a casual dining experience where organisers say punters can enjoy “a few beers and a feed with your friends, minus all your clothes".

Tickets are $30, which in addition to a beverage (your choice of a beer, wine or a soft drink) also gets diners a lanyard with a plastic pocket, where they can store their financial essentials while otherwise totally starkers. The full menu of Stitch Bar’s eats, beers, wines and cocktails will be available but don’t expect the staff to be in the buff as well – for hygiene reasons, all employees must remain fully clothed.

For obvious reasons, only patrons over the age of 18 will be admitted and organisers stress that Bottoms Up Sydney is a strictly non-sexual event – any attendees found acting inappropriately will be shown the door (we assume after they’ve been allowed to put their jocks back on).

If you're an ardent nudist or just curious about the scene, come meet fellow enthusiasts in a relaxed setting at Stitch Bar on November 3, where you can drop your pants from 3-8pm.
