Time Out says

A musical celebration of everyone's favourite vampire slayer

If you were an angsty teen in the '90s you probably share our deep love for Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's now been 20 years since everyone's favourite wise-cracking, ass-kicking, vampire-killing, cool-weirdo slayed her way into your heart forever, along with her exceptionally complicated cohort of pals/lovers, and to celebrate this milestone the Long Goodbye in Darlinghurst is hosting a Buffy-themed evening.

The old Hazy Rose site will be slinging appropriately macabre cocktails like a Corpse Reviver no. 2, Blood and Sand, Bloody Mary and a Railroad Spike, but themed-drinks are only the beginning.

Erin Clare will be performing numbers from Buffy’s musical episode ‘Once More With Feeling’ throughout the evening, and the best dressed guest will win a dinner for two at Kagura.

Better crack out the face putty, fake fangs and long leather jackets - the '90s are back. Grrrr argh.
