Bushfire Fundraiser at the Argyle
Time Out says
Close out the long weekend at a fundraising party headlined by the city’s biggest dance acts
The Argyle is arguably party central of the Rocks, and this Monday, January 27, the venue will be making sure Sydneysiders have a place to party away the final hours of the long weekend while raising funds for bushfire relief.
Big names in the local dance music scene will be on the decks and performing live, including sample kings Mash N Kutcher with their popular live duo act and dance hits that mix up bangers like ‘Lovefool’ and ‘Steal My Sunshine’; Timomatic will ‘Set It Off’ and ask ‘Can You Feel It’ with his dance hits and dance moves; and blue-haired wellness enthusiast DJ Tigerlily will be there alongside others such as 15grams, Beastmode, Chumpion and DJ Trey.
Tickets are $40, and all proceeds (including the booking fee) will be donated to Wildlife Rescue South Coast, Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) and Red Cross Australia – as well as all the proceeds from a special Spritz menu. Donation buckets will be doing the rounds, and there’ll also be the chance to buy raffle tickets with some top-shelf prizes.
The event kicks off in the afternoon for those daylight ravers, and the party will continue until 10pm to squeeze out the last boogie moments of the January long weekend while raising money for a cause close to all our hearts.
