Chatswood is getting its own Christmas market to help locals and visitors get into the festive spirit this season. For two weeks in December the mall on Victoria Avenue will be transformed with rows of stalls selling everything from handwoven fair trade African baskets to leather handbags, jewellery and handcrafted candles, soaps and crystals.
Gifts aren’t the only thing on offer at the markets, there’ll also be live music, plus food stalls selling a global spread of cuisines including fancy French foie gras, charcuterie and cheeses, Belgian chocolate-drizzled gelato sandwiches, truffle burgers and Greek, Malaysian, Spanish and Korean food.
