Love chocolate? This five-course tasting menu and chocolate masterclass is for you
To celebrate World Chocolate Day, 12 Micron are plating up a special five-course chocolate tasting menu for the week starting Mon Jul 2. But if chocolate is life you can pair the menu with a chocolate masterclass where you will participate in hands on chocolate demonstrations, plus matching wine and cocktails. Chef Justin Wise and head pastry chef Ashley Smith will be serving pepperberry crusted wallaby carpaccio, rosella, raspberry, and chocolate oil to begin, followed by rabbit assiette with truffle and chocolate. Course three is where dessert kicks in, with a white chocolate mousse with lemon aspen and yogurt sorbet; a dulcey chocolate, apricot and shortbread dish; and finally a dark chocolate brownie with ginger jelly and hazelnut. If that doesn't put a dent in your chocolate cravings, nothing will.
