Dig into some of your favourite music videos of the past year in this Vivid Ideas event headlined by Warren Fu
Clipped Music Video Festival is set to return in 2017 as part of the whopper Vivid Ideas program. Taking place at Sun Studios on Saturday June 3, Clipped is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the best music videos from both Australia and New Zealand.
Acclaimed music video director Warren Fu is set to headline this year’s event, appearing as the event’s first international guest speaker. Fu is known for his work with the likes of Daft Punk (‘Get Lucky’), the Strokes (‘Under Cover of Darkness’), the Weeknd (‘I Feel it Coming’) and Haim (‘If I Could Change Your Mind’), and previously worked as an art director at LucasFilm creating characters and designs for Star Wars.
This one-day event is set to include an interactive music video exhibition, screenings, awards, workshops and industry discussion panels. Clipped also invites filmmakers and bands to submit their clips which will be judged by Warren Fu and other industry leaders in categories such as animation, cinematography, directing and editing.
