The Everest Carnival will kick off with a bang when Royal Randwick Racecourse opens its gates for the first Spring Carnival race day, the Colgate Optic White Stakes Day. Bask in the glamour and excitement of raceday, and get ready to explore Royal Randwick’s host of new experiences and activations.
The day will launch Pony Palms – a poolside, palm tree-lined oasis in the heart of Royal Randwick. This fresh, experiential precinct will offer exclusive cabanas with options to add on your very own dedicated waiter, luxury beverage packages and swish picnic hampers, all while channelling the retro glamour and antics of Palm Springs. The energetic beats of Set Mo (feat Woodes), Yolanda Be Cool and Sarah Roberts will provide a soundtrack for the precinct on the day, so get ready to boogie on down in between races and after the final race.
If you don't feel like getting competitive on the track, play a friendly game of croquet at the TAB Country Club, or you can watch the Wallabies' World Cup clash with Fiji, which will be playing live on screens throughout Royal Randwick. Ladies (all women are ladies at the races!) can also head to the Colgate Optic White Smile studio, which will have free make-up touch-ups and a complimentary beauty concierge station.
Racing-wise, there will be thoroughbreds and top jockeys from across the country taking to the track. The title race was won by the legendary, now-retired Winx for three years running, and this year will see fierce competition.
If you're planning on going along to the Colgate Optic White Stakes Day then book early online to enjoy a reduced price.
