Time Out says

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been postponed due to the government's restrictions to restrict the spread of COVID-19. New dates TBC.

Whether you’re trying your hardest not to kill a small collection of indoor plants or you’re a fully certified horticulturist, the Collectors’ Plant Fair has something green that you won’t be able to resist taking home.

The fair has grown from its humble roots in the founder’s own backyard in Bilpin, branching out to the Hawkesbury Race Club in 2015 and now running for its 15th year. This more spacious venue has proven essential, with the largest plant fair in Australia now boasting over 100 specialist plant growers and garden related stallholders, including familiar faces and some new additions.

This year, the fair’s mission to make the world a little greener and support local growers is more important than ever, with many of the nurseries affected by severe droughts and an extreme bushfire season. As well as helping with the ongoing growth of these rare plants, the Collectors’ Plant Fair has always been a fundraising event for Mt Tomah Fire Brigade. The crew will be back once again to help out after several months of bravely fighting fires, so a trip to bring home the next member of your flora family will also mean a great deal to the local community.
