Romp between market stalls, carnival rides and the silent disco at the Hills’ neighbourhood fair
This big day of community celebration is coming to Bella Vista Farm on September 16, bringing a whole carnival of entertainment for kids and their grown-ups. The Community Fun Day will be set out in helpfully themed zones, each with a new fun focus.
If food is the first thing on your agenda, head to the food truck zone to fuel the rest of the day’s activities. Then, send the kids off to the three childrens’ areas that will cater to different age groups with craft, petting zoos, face painting, rides, ball pits, rock climbing and a silent disco. The whole family can get their hands dirty in gardening workshops in the conservation zone, before heading to the mainstage where local performers will show off their musical moves.
There will be stalls dedicated to sporting clubs and activities, and an area showcasing more local community groups from the region. Once you feel like you know the Hills back to front, kick back, enjoy a snack and marvel at the show.
