Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at these two Merivale venues

El Loco Slip Inn and Excelsior are hosting Dia de los Muertos parties this weekend with festivities kicking off at El Loco from 5pm on Friday. Don your most colourful flower crowns and paint your faces like a skull for free entertainment at both venues. There will be ice-cold $10 margaritas and Bloody Maria’s, plus suckling pig tacos. Festivities continue on Saturday at El Loco Excelsior in Surry Hills from noon with a live mariachi band and free Day of the Dead face painting.
