Learn how to make iced rings and cinnamon circles like the pros
If you’re a diehard doughnut fan and you’ve got Shortstop on your list of top dough joints, then it feels essential that you join their talented doughnut makers in this masterclass. Over two and a half hours, you’ll be rolling, proofing, frying and glazing your own batches of doughnuts, before you scoff them straight out of the fryer.
The very sweet cooking class will be lead by Shortstop’s queen of dough, Natalie Waugh, who will teach you how to mix a perfect yeast raised doughnut batter, cut the mix into the classic shape, fry ’em up, whip together and glaze and box them up to take home. You’ll leave with doughnuts three-ways, but don’t worry if your sugar cravings kick in mid-class – they’ll be keeping amateur bakers happy with fresh cinnamon doughnuts and batch brew coffee.
You’ll also leave the class with a $10 voucher for Shortstop, if you require doughnuts quicker than you can bake them in the future.
