Opened and operated by Matthew Mizyed, DUTI (which stands for dancing under the influence) is located in a stylish space in Enmore that would be perfectly at home tucked away in a New York brownstone.
DUTI’s mission is simple: to spread a love of dance to as many people as possible and to encourage newcomers to embrace movement and get their toes tapping.
Each of the teachers at the studio are currently working dancers and specialise in one particular style of dance from ballet and hip hop to contemporary and African dance. Classes are held in a relaxed and encouraging environment and guided by the instructor’s passion and skill. The lessons cater to dancers who are just learning how to move and shake to those who can tango with the best of them with beginner, intermediate and open classes available.
Aside from offering yoga and dance classes the studio was also created to serve as a community space and can be booked out for photo and video shoots, rehearsals as well as events and workshops. There is also the option to book dancers for your next event.
