Time Out says

Australia’s premier gaming event lets you play games that haven't been released yet

If you're into gaming, the annual EB Games Expo is like Christmas come early. You get to see and play new games and virtual reality headsets over three days at Sydney Showground.

They'll present the next wave of confirmed playable games, some available before their release date: Gears of War 4, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, Tekken 7, Dragonball Z Xenoverse 2 and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. Games available to play just after their release include Final Fantasy XV and Forza Horizon 3, set in Oz.

EB Games will announce more confirmed playable games in the lead up to the event, from PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and more. Fans attending the Expo will have the opportunity to experience the most diverse range of PlayStation VR titles available in the country to date.

With the app Pokemon GO spreading like fire, it’s not surprising the organisers of EB Expo will unveil a new Pokemon Zone. With a Pokemon store, battle lounge, and dedicated Pokemon area, fans will experience the world of Pokemon in the most tangible way yet. Another new addition is a free-to-play Minecraft area, Minecraft Block.

What is sure to be the sell-out of the convention is the first-ever Good Game Unplugged. This is a special 10th anniversary show hosted by Steven (Baja) O'Donnell, Stephanie (Hex) Bendixsen, Gus (Goose) Ronald, Nich (Nichboy) Richardson and Michael (Hingers) Hing. The show will celebrate the past ten years of Good Game, a show that includes a mix of gaming news, reviews, and features. Good Game Unplugged will include a Q&A and the cast will hold a free meet-and-greet at a time to be announced.
