Swap the couch for the court these school holidays, and get the kids down to Sydney Olympic Park for two weeks of non-stop fun. The action kicks off on April 11, and takes place across three of the park’s major sporting venues: the Archery Centre, Aquatic Centre and Quaycentre.

At the Quaycentre, the aim of the game is to have fun and try something new. Some of Sydney’s best coaches and professional athletes will be putting your little ones through their paces, and teaching them vital ball skills that can be applied to sports like netball, basketball, soccer and volleyball. And if your kids can't choose just one sport, sign them up for the All Day Multi Sports Camp, which will give them the chance to try everything from table tennis to gymnastics.

If your kids love nothing more than spending hours in the water, head to the Aquatic Centre. Under expert supervision they can learn safe diving techniques, and have a go at using the springboard and three-metre platforms. There will also be water polo clinics, which focus on developing skills such as moving the ball through the water, passing, defending and shooting – who knows, you may just discover you have a future water polo star on your hands.

The Archery Centre will be running two different workshops: the Young Archers for the littlies aged seven and above, and Sharp Shooters for kids over ten. Both will cover off the basics of archery, including the correct handling of equipment and proper safety protocols.

And we dare you to find a child that won’t want to get involved in a round of laser tag. Held on an outdoor battlefield, it will feature props, special sound effects and blockade bunkers.

Times and prices for the sessions vary depending on the sport. For more booking information, head to the website.
