Gloria Steinem: Life on the Road

Sydney Writers’ Festival has announced they will be welcoming the co-founder of Ms. magazine and celebrated feminist to this year’s festival for a headline talk at Sydney Town Hall. Gloria Steinem will reveal the surprising and deeply personal encounters that have shaped her; from her early experiences as a social activist to launching New York magazine and Ms. She’ll be touching on stories from her memoir, My Life on the Road, as well as discussing the current US Presidential elections in which she has been a vocal supporter of Hilary Clinton. She’ll be speaking with the Book Club’s Jennifer Byrne.
