Nick and Nora’s bar has crowned Parramatta king among the Western Sydney burbs’ in terms of fabulous bars with banging views, so naturally they’ve set up a huge glittery New Year’s Eve party to ring in their first season of fireworks. The shindig will include a Great Gatsby theme – start shopping for pearls, flapper girl dresses and dapper bow ties – canapés throughout and a few cheeky drinks as part of the ticket price.
Now, you may not think you’d be able to see the full Sydney CBD NYE hullabaloo of fireworks from a Parramatta party, but thanks to the fabulous view at Nick and Nora’s, you may catch a glimpse of a teensy tiny sparkling Harbour Bridge, as well as the bright Western Sydney show.
You’ll want to avoid a fashionably late arrival, as only 100 of the 300 guests can squeeze into prime position on the 26-stories high terrace.
