At the Green Living Centre's free workshops, learn how to set up and maintain a worm farm. Send less waste to landfill by turning your food scraps into an endless supply of natural compost. All City of Sydney residents receive a free worm farm bin. For everyone else, wooden and polystyrene boxes found at your local fruit shop are great for a first worm farm; just remember to add drainage holes. Worms hate light so steer clear of glass containers.
