Since 2014, Hijinks (run by the Festivalists) has been transforming popular Sydney venues into adult playgrounds. This time they're inviting us to Madame Tussauds after hours with the lure of booze, a child-free major attraction and fun adult-only things like burlesque and drag performances.
All guests receive a drink upon arrival, included in the ticket price. And everyone is encouraged to dress up to the theme 'fashion through the ages' – there are prizes up for grabs.
Strut the catwalk after spending time in the makeover booth. Learn to vogue with a professional dancer Diesel Darling and spend hours taking selfies with wax figures Gaga, Kylie, Marilyn and other fashionistas. You can create your own accessories at the crafts station before participating in a fashion illustration workshop. And, be sure to check out burlesque performer Cody Cabana, too.
