The ICC T20 World Cup is bringing cricket's biggest superstars to Australia

Calling all cricket fans: the ICC T20 World Cup is being hosted in Australia for the first time, and you won't want to miss any of the action. The World Cup kicks off with the women's tournament in February and March (the men's takes place over October and November). There will be three weeks of events in Sydney, including a blockbuster opening match between Australia and India on Friday, 21 February as well as a double header semi final on Thursday, 5 March.

In addition to cheering on their squads at the fixtures, fans will have a chance to meet the teams on Wednesday, 19 February during a free welcome event at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. Visitors can take photos with their sporting heroes, go to bat in the VR hitting range, film messages of support for their teams and catch a performance by South Asian fusion dancers the Bindi Bosses. A travelling Fan Zone will also tour various suburbs around Sydney. Visit the website for the full event lineup and to book tickets to the games.
