Time Out says

These very luxe harbourside bubbles are returning to Sydney for winter

We're probably not going to see snow in Sydney this winter, but you can play pretend at an Antarctic season inside a cosy, extremely fancy igloo. Draped in furs and filled with hearty winter feasts for you and your crew of winter city explorers, the cosy hangout of your dreams is designed this year by Instagram influencer Tara Milk Tea – and as in years past, it's popping up at hotel Pier One.

On the balcony of a luxury suite, you'll find a winter wonderland with lit-up cherry trees and sweeping harbour views. You can book each igloo for a hire fee of $200, with an additional minimum spend on food and drinks of $400 per booking of up to 10 guests. This price is bumped up to $300 for hire and a spend of $700 if you're booking on a Friday to Sunday. Thanks to the selection of cured meats, oysters, seafood platters, cocktails and desserts on offer, we have a feeling you won't struggle too much to get there.

Your options include a sunny booking for noon, watching the sun set in an afternoon reservation from 3.30pm, or cosying up for an evening igloo escape from 7pm. If the thought of heading home on the night of a luxurious igloo sesh sounds like too much, you can combine your igloo adventure with an overnight stay in a Pier One suite if you book in for a 7pm slot (just note than an overnight stay is compulsory if you're booking on a Friday-Sunday).
