Time Out says

Over 200 Italian wines and food stalls pack out Barangaroo

If there was ever a time for stretchy pants, the Italian Wine and Food Festival is it. This annual celebration of all the tastiest drops coming out of Italy, plus Italian varieties from across the globe and Italy's best snacks will take over Australian Technology Park this year.

Masterclasses and workshops sell out quickly so if you want to really get into the educational elements of the festival it pays to book early.

Otherwise standard entry (a mere $25 if you pre-book this yesr) gets you a tasting glass that you can give a serious work out as you make your way through stalls dedicated to regions and grape varieties, with pitstops for mozzarella, prosciutto, pizza, risotto, panini, bruschetta, olives, cheese and salami, and a Negroni bar for a break from grapes. There's also coffee by Espresso Di Manfredi if you feel yourself flagging.

And these aren't just any old Italian snacks. You can expect stalls from the best Italian restaurants and providores in the city, including: Lucio’sPizzaperta, and Pendolino, plus guest appearances from celebrity chef Silvia Colloca.
