It’s been 12 months since the world first mourned the death of a musical icon (and 20-shitsheen didn’t stop there!), so now’s the time to remind ourselves how much we miss the Star Man with a free gig and street party in his honour.
Two Bowie mega-fans will host a night of non-stop celebration joined by the Let’s Dance house band (who’ve played alongside Lou Reed, Paul Kelly, Neil Finn, Jimmy Barnes, Paul Dempsey and Katie Noonan). It’ll be an audio-visual celebration of Bowie’s greatest hits, including film clips and on stage performances.
