Time Out says

Pyrmont’s popular Lunar Markets are back for 11 nights to celebrate the Year of the Rooster

Create your own Lunar New Year feast with different dishes from the 20-plus stallholders at the nightly markets in Pyrmont Bay Park. The free pop-up food festival takes place over 11 nights during the Sydney Chinese New Year Festival and there are usually stalls from Australia’s top Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Thai restaurants, including Bao Stop, POKLOL, Fat Noodle and the Century.

There’s free entertainment every night at the Lunar Markets, which includes bars and plenty of plastic chairs and tables under a canopy of lanterns.
