Time Out says

Welcome the new decade with a starlit salute on a beachside balcony with sightlines out to the Sydney Harbour fireworks display

This New Year’s Eve, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is hosting the ultimate summer party with presenting partner, Heineken. Watch the sun slowly sink below the harbour and wave goodbye to 2019 as Sydney’s famous midnight fireworks light up the night sky.

The evening's core soundtrack will come from Sydney house music master, singer-songwriter KLP. She’ll be joined by joyful disco DJs Groove City, radio host and DJ Dameeeela, Purple Sneakers and FBi Radio star Caitlin Medcalf, and her music and radio compatriot Eddy Diamond. These local party-loving music makers will help you boogie from sundown and into 2020 with appropriate glee as you gaze out across the bay and make impromptu NYE resolutions.

General admission will grant you entry to the hotel’s Beach Club, with an hour of summer-fresh beverages on the house. If you want to round out 2019 in super slick Sydney style, VIP tickets will get you exclusive all-access entry to the top and mid decks and complimentary bites and beverages from 5-7pm. This includes plenty of Aperol Spritzes, rows of Heinekens, delicious canapés and access to the Beach Club so you can groove on the dancefloor. If you require a moment of reflection, pass outs are allowed, so you can take a stroll along the promenade or let the waves cool your sore dancing feet.

Concerned about how you’ll get home? Don’t worry, Watsons have pre-booked ferry tickets to ensure all partygoers have a hassle-free journey home. If you’re coming from Manly you can book a return ticket, cruising in from 5.30pm and chugging back at 1.15am. Those heading east can make their way home from 1.30am to Rose Bay, with bus connections towards Bondi rolling on from the marina. Both services will set you back $40, but it’ll be worth it to cruise past the clogged January 1 traffic.

Tickets are now on final release.
