Most of us are content to keep ourselves afloat in the water, not so water polo players, who combine superhuman, amphibian strength with incredible agility. Get a bird’s eye view of some of the sport’s finest when the Aussie Sharks take on the International All-Stars at Bondi Icebergs.
Nexba Water Polo by the Sea will take place on Thursday 9 March and will play host to some of the biggest names in the sport, including Serbian Rio gold medalists Filip Filipovic and Dusko Pijetlovic, as well as Aussie Olympian and local Bondi boy, Richie Campbell.
There are a few different ticket options to chose from, with VIP packages available should you be that way inclined. Spectators at the Aperol Bar can snack in style from a canape menu designed by Maurice Terzini from Icebergs Dining Room. All the better for cheering on your team.
Watching those broad shoulders swim up and down the pool is thirsty work; luckily all ticket holders are invited to join in the post-match party at Hotel Ravesis from 8pm.
