Abandoned shopfronts become the stage for a series of free performances at Sydney Fringe
Sydney Fringe ambassador Elana Stone (All Our Exes Live in Texas) is curating the launch party for the brand-new creative arts precinct ‘Off Broadway’. For three hours on Sunday afternoon there’ll be free live music performances from Green Mohair Suits and the Cope Street Parade, as well as other artists, all taking place in abandoned shopfronts. The free event includes the opening of the Stencil Art Prize, talks, and food and drinks by Waywards Brewery and Chrissy’s Cuts. The precinct at Gehrig Lane will continue to grow beyond September for independent artists to use for performances.
