Time Out says

It's ten days of diverse cultural activities and celebrations across the Inner West suburbs

Inner Westernites from Newtown to Ashfield will share their heritage and lived cultural experiences in this inclusive annual festival of art, music, performance and food. It kicks off with the unveiling of the First Cultures, Land, Culture, Life exhibition and performance at the Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative in Leichhardt (Jun 15).

A dizzying amount of varied events follow. These include all ages hip-hop, rap and street-dancing performances and workshops in Ashfield Town Hall (Jun 15); an adults only night of food and entertainment celebrating queer South Asian culture (June 15); Pachamama Festival, which brings together Indigenous and Latin American cultures through music and storytelling (Jun 15-16); a celebration of Greek music with talks, live performances and traditional dancing (June 21); a bazar of Indonesian food and culture (Jun 23); and a knockout football tournament between local communities (Jun 24).

The celebrations come to a close at the New Beginnings Festival which commemorates Refugee Week. There will be a full day of public events led by artists who are new arrivals to Australia. The program includes an art exhibition, talks, workshops and performances at the refugee centre in Callan Park (Jun 24).
