The Young Henrys co-founder (alongside his buddy Richard Adamson) is behind the famous Inner West brewery with a strong community focus, penchant for food trucks and a love of rock’n’roll. It’s the kind of brewery that gets behind the launch of a brand new, local music festival, stocks the bar at fundraising community fairs, inviting musos and artists into their venue, and with their leftover time starts distilling gin. The team have also joined with a dream team of Newtown hospo legends to reopen the Unicorn Hotel in Paddington.
Oscar’s future hopes for Sydney: “The live music scene needs assistance. In the lockout kerfuffle, it is important that we recognise the potential for exceptions for live venues.”
