Living legend Patti Smith is touring Australia this April. She'll be headlining Bluesfest and playing her record Horses with a full band at the State Theatre.
But, as anyone who's read Just Kids can attest, Smith's skills with words extend well beyond song lyrics. And it's Smith the author, and Smith the poet who'll be appearing on stage at the Sydney Opera House.
Smith will talk about her life and career, read from her latest autobiographical work M Train, and sing solo.
Tickets go on sale from February 24, and with a starting price of just $35, plus booking fee, they're likely to sell out quickly.
