Join fellow ‘yes’ voters when the survey results are announced at a free multi-stage protest festival that is expected to draw thousands to Oxford Street.
If the ‘yes’ vote wins, it’ll be a victory celebration calling on parliament to follow through and change the law. Should the ‘no’ vote come out on top, it’ll become a protest to mark the crowd’s reaffirmed commitment to continuing the fight for marriage equality.
Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQIA community, or count yourself among the family, friends, activists and broader community who made phone calls, put up posters, attended rallies or simply ticked ‘yes’, this is an opportunity to come together in a moment of unity that caps off a long and stressful campaign – one which we hope ends up triumphant.
