Melbourne's festival of all things German is coming to Sydney this year for the inaugural Royal Sydney Oktoberfest. The festival is being held at Australian Technology Park where they will transform Doltone House into a Bavarian beer hall to celebrate the world's oldest beer festival. Over 50 different imported German beers will be on offer, including five of the six Munich Oktoberfest Breweries that adhere to the famous purity laws for brewing. To keep you on an even keel there'll also be stalls selling schnitzel, waffles, pretzels, roast chickens, pork knuckle, pastries, and wurst. And is it even a German celebration without an oompah band? We need never know because there'll be tuba-heavy, jaunty tunes and folk dancing.
