RSPCA Clear the Shelters Weekend
Time Out says
The RSPCA is lowering adoption fees to $29 this weekend to help hundreds of animals find a forever home
What do Comet the kitten, Wilf the puppy, and Sheepy the sheep all have in common? Aside from being totally adorable, they're all also in need of a new home. And during this weekend's Clear the Shelters adoption drive, the RSPCA is lowering adoption fees to $29 to encourage prospective "parents" to take home a furry (or woolly) new family member.
In NSW, the RSPCA has 700 animals available for adoption including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, Sheepy the sheep and Charlie the miniature horse. The Clear the Shelters adoption drive was so successful around the country last year that 90% of the animals in the RSPCA's care were rehomed. But some of them, like Kevin the Great Dane, are still looking for their forever homes. Here's hoping that this will be Kevin's lucky year!
