Time Out says

Serbia is about to become your new favourite place

Come and celebrate all things Serbian at Darling’s Harbours Tumbalong Park on February 10-11 as the Serbian Festival returns for another year of good food, good music and good times.

The weekend will be packed full of your favourite Serbian eats including ćevapi (a meal of grilled mince meat and the national dish of Serbia), borek and more sweet treats than you could dream of. If all this is making you thirsty then grab yourself a limunana, the festival’s speciality drink inspired by the summer scene in Belgrade, with a recipe that remains a closely guarded secret. There will also be imported wine a beer on offer across the weekend.

Once you’ve sampled all of the culinary delights at the festival it’s time to join hands, form a massive circle and dance the kolo, the national dance of Serbia.

But you don’t need to wait to hit the dancefloor, with mix of traditional and contemporary music keeping the party going into the early hours. Best of all entry is free, so there’s no excuse not to join in the festivities.
