Time Out says

Why is sex and death still taboo?

When Toronto-based artist and poet Rupi Kaur uploaded a fully clothed self-portrait with a blood-stained crotch to Instagram, the social media site removed it – twice. Kaur, whose poetry and prose collection Milk and Honey is a #1 New York Times bestseller, often uses Instagram to publish new work. Kaur, alongside author Brit Bennett (The Mothers) and Viola Di Grado (Hollow Heart), will talk with Serbian-Australian writer Sofia Stefanovic about why the underlying forces of our lives – sex and death – are still taboo.
