Time Out says

Live out your Rodgers and Hammerstein fantasy at this sing-a-long of the classic film

Sydney's about to come alive with the Sound of Music. Belt out mountainside favourites, drape yourself in a floral curtain or two and take yourself back to when you were 16 going on 17 at this sing-a-long version of the 1960s Julie Andrews hit.

This all-singing, all-dancing screening will be hosted by "international superstar, sex symbol and piano accordionist" Hans, from America's Got Talent. What a job title.

It's all going down at the Coliseum Theatre on August 21. The film screening begins at 7pm and includes a vocal warm-up and subtitles for all the songs (just in case you’re a little dusty). There's even a prize for best dressed – it might be time to get those wimples out.
