Time Out says

A slice of Singapore comes to Chippendale

A creative showcase of some of Singapore's top artists, designers, chefs, filmmakers and photographers will transform Chippendale's Kensington Street for three nights. Explore the city-state’s dynamic contemporary arts, food and drink, design and music scenes, all without leaving Chippendale.

Art

Twenty Singaporean and Australian creatives have collaborated to create works for the Singapore: Inside Out exhibition, across photography, visual arts, dance, music, multimedia, architecture and design. Artists include Joshua Ip, Ezzam Rahman, Grace Tan and Kirsten Tan, and collectives include Objectifs, RAW Moves Ltd and Syndicate, all of whom will produce multi-sensory works, live performances, dance pieces and more.

Food and Drink

Singapore wouldn't be truly represented without a showcase of its sizzling food and drink scene, and they've recruited Singapore's top chefs to work with local pros. Singaporean chef Jeremy Cheok will collaborate with our own Alex Lee (Alex Lee Kitchen), while dessert maestros Cheryl Koh and Adredna Tan (Singapore's Tarte by Cheryl Koh and Candlenut respectively) will join forces with Koi Dessert Bar's Reynold Poernomo. Malcolm Lee, head chef and owner of the world's first Michelin-starred Peranakan (Straits Chinese) restaurant will also be presenting canapes at the event alongside one of Asia's best bartenders, Peter Chua, who will be creating custom cocktails just for the event.

Shop

There will also be a pop-up direct from Singapore’s colourful shopping strip Orchard Road, which will showcase 12 Singaporean designers handpicked by design retailer Naiise, plus live music performances from the Music Society, Singapore, to keep you entertained.
