[Sponsored] Come to South Eveleigh’s Indigenous Rooftop Farm to help solve two key challenges for South Eveleigh – there’ll be free coffee and doughnuts

Property developers Mirvac are inviting interested community members to one of three ‘ideation sessions’ on Tuesday August 20 to help solve two key challenges for South Eveleigh:

Finding new ways to create unique activities, interactions and events at South Eveleigh that build a sense of connection with the local community.

What new and exciting ways can be deployed to activate the public spaces within the precinct? Mirvac want South Eveleigh to welcome the local community and to build a sense of belonging for each and every visitor. Can you help come up with unique activities, interactions and events which reflect the local area’s social, cultural, and economic character, as well as the history and stories that have created the fabric of this place over time?

Delivering meaningful uses for Yerrabingin House Community Space that inspires the local community to achieve their goals.

At Yerrabingin House, Mirvac have set aside Level 1 for the local community to use, and they want to ensure it is set up to deliver meaningful outcomes. They’re looking for inspiring, innovative uses that resonate with the local community and solve real problems both today and into the future. Do you know of a problem in the local community which could be solved in the space?

Keen to get involved? Come along to the rooftop farm for one of the sessions at 9am, 11am or 1pm. The sessions are free, and you can also help yourself to free coffee and donuts to get the creative juices flowing. The sessions are two hours each, but you can pop in and out at whatever time suits you.

This is your chance to meet other members of the community and to directly influence the activation of South Eveleigh and community use of Yerrabingin House. Register your attendance here.
